Nancy Daubenspeck is a visual artist based in Cornwall Bridge, CT. She apprenticed and worked for many years as a mold maker and artist's assistant in fine art and architectural foundry casting. She has had a life long interest in anatomy and anatomical drawing. Her formal education is in chemistry, mathematics and computer science. She has done research in inorganic chemistry, physics and seismology. She has training in iconography and lacemaking and began painting and drawing in earnest in 2006 after an introduction to casein and panel painting at Parsons School of Design in NYC.
